On her birthday on Thursday, Reis posted a photo on her Weibo account showing her husband embracing her from behind with a birthday cake displayed in front of them. She captioned the image: "Thank you everyone for remembering me."

Comments on the post complimented Reis for her youthful appearance at 54 and sent congratulations on her fulfilling marriage and harmonious family life.

Having been together for over 15 years, Reis and Julian continue to share a close and affectionate relationship, often traveling and dining at high-end restaurants together. This year, they celebrated Mother’s Day on May 12 with a family trip to Japan via private jet, which drew praise from their followers.

Reis gained fame as a celebrated Hong Kong actress after her pageant successes and received international acclaim for her role in Wong Kar-wai’s "Fallen Angels." Although she has scaled back her screen appearances since the early 2000s, she continues to remain in the public eye.

Julian, 62, belongs to one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious families. His father Sai Fun Hui was among Forbes’ top 50 wealthiest individuals in Hong Kong until his death in 2018. Julian reportedly inherited assets worth HK$40 billion from his father, and is currently managing their business empire.

Before marrying Reis, Julian was engaged to actress Carina Lau, according to the South China Morning Post. He was previously married to Pansy Ho, casino magnate Stanley Ho’s daughter, from 1991 until their separation in 2000.
