Casino magnate Stanley Ho’s heirs gather for opening ceremony of Asia’s first Versace hotel

According to Singtao, an assembly of eight heirs from the casino magnate’s lineage - encompassing Daisy, Pansy, Laurinda, Florinda, Orlando, Arnaldo, Mario, and Alice - was observed at the ceremony conducted on Monday, underscoring the Ho family’s partnership with the Versace group in Macau’s hotel sector.

Among them, Daisy and Pansy are daughters of the late magnate with his second wife Lucina Laam. Laurinda, Florinda, and Orlando are children he shares with his third wife Ina Chan, while Arnaldo, Mario, and Alice are from his relationship with his fourth wife Angela Leong.

This event marked the heirs’ first joint public outing after a period marked by familial disagreements and disputes over the division of the family wealth.

The press reported that Leong, despite being the eldest by age and role, was eclipsed by Pansy and Daisy, who took central roles at the event and were frequently positioned at the forefront in many photographs.

At present, Pansy leads the Ho family’s ventures. Meanwhile, Daisy acts as the chairperson of the family’s flagship company SJM Holdings, the most prominent branch of the family’s business empire, which manages, operates, and develops casinos and integrated entertainment resorts in Macau.

Reports by 163 indicate that the Ho siblings’ relationship have solidified after Stanley’s passing, surpassing previous rivalries. Except for the offspring of the first wife, who have either passed away or distanced themselves from the family enterprise, the progeny of the second, third, and fourth wives have reached a common ground.

Additionally, the ceremony attracted a host of distinguished personalities from the Hong Kong commerce and entertainment sectors, including businessman Eric Fok, Miss Hong Kong 2013 Grace Chan, and model Qi Qi.

The Palazzo Versace Macau, representing the brand’s first resort venture in Asia, draws inspiration from lavish Baroque and ancient Greek architectural styles, reflecting the creative direction of the brand’s founder Donatella Versace, as reported by Hypebeast.
