The Global CSR & ESG Awards are granted at global and national levels. This year at the global level, Hope Foundation received a bronze award in the Environmental Excellence Award category, given to organizations with excellent environmental activities. At the national level, Hope Foundation won the gold award "Best in Vietnam" for its outstanding CSR & ESG activities at the award ceremony in Hanoi on April 25.

Hope Foundation's School Hygiene project, which received the Global CSR & ESG Awards in the environment category, was initiated in 2022. After two years of implementation, the project has built 100 new toilets meeting the basic needs of 20,000 students and teachers in five districts of Vietnam: Van Ho and Song Ma in Son La Province, Muong Nhe in Dien Bien, Dong Van in Ha Giang and Hung Ha in Thai Binh. This year the project aims to build 70 new toilets in Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, and Nghe An provinces. The project is expected to complete building 400 toilets by 2027, benefiting millions of students and teachers.
In the category of organizations with outstanding CSR & ESG activities in Vietnam, Hope Foundation was recognized for many results achieved after six years in operation: 205 new school campuses built and renovated, 363 new concrete bridges built, 3,200 pediatric cancer and critical illness patients receiving treatment and nutrition support with a total sponsorship value of VND203 billion (US$8 million). More than 100,000 students, teachers, and more than 500,000 people in 50 provinces and cities in Vietnam have benefited from projects sponsored by the foundation in the fields of education, health, and livelihood.
Nguyen Xuan Tu, Managing Director of Hope Foundation, shared that these awards are recognition and encouragement for the foundation to persevere with its mission of supporting disadvantaged people and those in remote areas.
Hope Foundation has three long-term programs throughout the year. They are Schools of Sunshine that provides education support, The Road to School that provides transportation support, and The Sun of Hope that support for pediatric patients and vulnerable children). In addition, the foundation also has annual programs such as Tet of Hope when it gives gifts to the poor and orphans, or emergency relief programs to help people affected by floods or Covid-19.
Global CSR & ESG Awards is one of the world's largest awards for sustainable development, organized by The Pinnacle Group International based in Singapore. The award honors organizations and companies with innovative sustainable development (ESG) strategies, products, services, projects, and CSR (corporate social responsibility) programs. Each year, the organizing committee receives about 350-370 nominations and presents around 50-70 awards in 10 categories.
