Hien currently works as an online trainer and stands 1.6 meters tall, weighing 49 kg.
Following the birth of her second child, Hien’s health declined.. She frequently fell ill, requiring extensive use of antibiotics. She also suffered from allergic reactions, psoriasis, cold extremities, diminished physical strength, a less toned body, poor appetite and sleep, and general fatigue, which often led to irritability and depression.
After her second children reached the age of three, Hien and her husband divorced. Assuming the dual roles of both father and mother, she was determined to enhance her health and physical condition.
For many years, Hien adhered to a regimen of gym workouts and kickboxing, consuming a high-protein, meat-rich diet and taking supplements, which caused her body to feel overheated and unbalanced. The demanding workouts also led to muscle tightness and stiffness, consuming much of her daily time, prompting her decision to quit.
When the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure of gyms, Hien transitioned to a new dietary and exercise routine, which she has continued, maintaining a healthy and slim physique.

Here are the strategies that help this mother of two maintain her slender waist through the years:
Practicing restorative yoga
To keep fit and healthy, Hien engages in restorative yoga three to four times a week, with sessions lasting between 15 and 60 minutes. She has been passionate about this discipline and has taught it online for two years.
Restorative yoga aims to bring deep comfort and relaxation to its practitioners, promoting the activation of the body and mind’s relaxation responses. It aids in clearing energy blockages and encourages practitioners to focus inward, enhancing their meditation and peace.
Hien explains that restorative yoga relies on controlled breathing and gentle physical movements that introduce energy flow. Breathing is fundamental, with focus on balance and aligning with the spine.
This form of yoga thus teaches participants to observe and tune into their bodies, aligning muscle relaxation and stretching with their breath. It identifies where stress accumulates in the body and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables self-healing.
It also enhances flexibility and mental strength, restoring the body to a balanced and stable state and fostering self-repair. This practice emphasizes the safety and benefits for practitioners, using poses to achieve bodily balance rather than forcing the body into poses, thus ensuring a safe and beneficial practice that minimizes injury risks.

Following the "eat clean" diet
Hien has adhered to a clean eating regimen for years but is currently flexible with her food choices, primarily eating lots of vegetables and fruits and minimizing meat consumption.
The "eat clean" diet is designed to boost health, aid weight loss, and maintain physical fitness by focusing on natural foods. It promotes eating whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, and healthy fats, while reducing the intake of fast foods, processed items, sweets, and other packaged products.
For Hien, maintaining regular physical activity and a healthy diet not only improves her health and beauty but also enables her to support others with similar goals and situations. As a mother of two, this adds significant meaning and satisfaction to her daily activities.
