According to 163, Ming Xi recently accompanied Leong to a volleyball match in Hong Kong. The pair appeared very cheerful and elated, celebrating their favorite team’s victory.

During an interview after the game, the supermodel frequently turned to converse with her mother-in-law, and their lively interaction with the press was noted for its "harmonious understanding."

The bond between Ming Xi and her in-laws has been notably strong over recent years. Sources note that Leong adores her daughter-in-law, often gifting her luxurious and valuable presents.

For instance, following the birth of Ming Xi’s children, Leong and her son provided her with real estate and cash valued at hundreds of millions of Hong Kong dollars (HK$100 million equals US$12.8 million). Additionally, for Ming Xi’s birthday in March this year, Leong gifted her a yacht worth HK$4.6 billion.

Online observers note that Ming Xi’s status has significantly risen since joining the Ho family, with predictions about her potentially taking a leadership role in the family business.

Following Stanley’s death, Leong and the children of the mogul by his second wife Lucina Laam have been active in expanding the family’s business empire. Ming Xi has participated in major family events, including the opening of Palazzo Versace Macau, the first Versace hotel in Asia, in March. It is reported that just days before the hotel’s inauguration, Leong and Ming Xi carried out a final inspection.

Ming Xi, 35, began her modeling career in 2009 after a television contest. She has since ascended in the industry, working with top fashion brands like Victoria’s Secret and Givenchy.

Her husband Mario, 29, is a graduate with a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Leong, 63, is Stanley’s fourth wife. As of June 19, Forbes estimated her net worth to be US$2.5 billion, ranking her 33rd on its list of Hong Kong’s 50 Richest.
