Citing reasons for her decision, Co Ngan expressed that she sees no future in their relationship, stating it is "going nowhere." She emphasized her preference for changing her path rather than persisting without clear direction, which she believes would be a waste of her time and effort.
Since ending her long-term relationship with Katz, Co Ngan has focused on living a more measured life and prioritizing self-love. This breakup has instilled a sense of caution in her and a fear of entering new relationships, leading her friends to advise her to be more open to meeting new people.
The model has mentioned a desire to date a younger man and explore new experiences, but she intends to keep any future relationships private.
Co Ngan’s relationship with Katz ended in July last year, three months after she moved to the U.S. to be with him. She has not specified the reasons for their separation but refuted allegations that Katz was abusive.
In addition, she expressed that her deepest regret over the breakup was having to leave Katz’s pet dog, which she had come to consider as her own.
Also known by her real name Co Thi Kim Ngan, the model works in the fashion and cosmetics industry.
Katz is the founder and designer of Rough Roses, a fashion brand renowned for its leather bags and belts.
The couple first connected in 2019 via Instagram and met in person during one of Katz’s business trips to Vietnam. They experienced a temporary separation before the Covid-19 pandemic due to frequent arguments but reconciled six months later.
In June 2019, Katz proposed to Co Ngan in Seoul, South Korea, and they subsequently held an engagement ceremony at a six-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
