St Headline reports that Lee was present at Wong’s trial on Tuesday, where she faced charges of overstaying her tourist visa, utilizing counterfeit documents, and submitting false information for Hong Kong entry. Wong’s attorney declared in court that she had voluntarily admitted guilt.

Following the trial’s conclusion, it was determined that Wong would remain in custody until her next court appearance on June 19.

After leaving the courthouse, Lee voiced his frustration over the inability to expedite the resolution of the case. He quickly departed to consult further with his lawyers about speeding up Wong’s release.

Originally from mainland China, Wong was apprehended in February for violating the terms of her tourist visa in Hong Kong. Further investigation showed she utilized forged U.S. university diplomas to facilitate her entry under a priority admission scheme.

Since her arrest, Lee has made daily visits to the Tai Lam Center for Women, where Wong is held, and has dedicated his time entirely to her support.

Lee has committed to marrying Wong after her release and has considered relocating to mainland China in case she faces deportation.

The pair, who first met when Lee was 66, had planned a wedding by the end of 2023, but it was postponed due to the death of Wong’s father.

Wong is also dealing with allegations of trading sexual favors for money and deceit. Critics have doubted her claims of a wealthy background and educational credentials, accusing her of concocting these stories to garner support from affluent individuals.

However, Lee continues to support her, denying any financial motives in their relationship. He disclosed that his properties are in his ex-wife's name, and he has limited financial means.

Besides his role in "The Condor Heroes," Lee is celebrated for his work in the TV series "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer," "Journey to the West," and "Forensic Heroes."

He has three children from a marriage in the 1970s, all older than Wong.
