Billionaires from around the world have arrived in the central coastal city of Da Nang on five luxury jets to attend an annual conference and visit local tourist attractions including Hoi An ancient town.

The five Gulfstream jets—G600, G500, G650ER, and two G700s—landed at Da Nang International Airport on Tuesday.

Sun Air, Gulfstream’s representative in Vietnam, confirmed that the jets brought 50 high-profile customers, including billionaires and Gulfstream’s operating partners, to attend the company's annual customer conference.

During the three-day conference, they would be staying at a five-star resort on Da Nang's Son Tra Peninsula and visiting famous local landmarks such as Ba Na Hills and Hoi An ancient town.

A Gulfstream representative explained that Vietnam was chosen as the destination for this year's conference due to its stunning landscapes and convenient location for potential clients from around the world.

Gulfstream is a renowned name in the luxury aviation industry, with notable clients such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi owning their aircraft.

Among the jets in Da Nang, the G650ER stands out as the fastest and longest-range private jet, capable of circumnavigating the globe with just one stop. Its interior caters to the ultra-wealthy, featuring amenities like a bed, kitchen, bar, bathroom, lounge area with a TV, and a living room designed to five-star standards.

The G700, known for its spacious cabin, can accommodate up to 21 passengers. It promotes passenger well-being with 100% fresh air replenished every 2-3 minutes and natural light streaming through the 20 largest windows in any business jet.

Earlier this year in March, American tech billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend also visited Da Nang for a four-day private holiday. Gates arrived in a G650ER private jet, stayed at a beachfront resort, and experienced local culture, including enjoying tea on Ban Co mountain peak of Son Tra Peninsula.
