Chinese actor Chen Xiao silent amid divorce rumors with actress wife Michelle Chen

Their 8-year marriage has become a trending topic on Weibo multiple times since early this week. According to Ifeng, Chen has been seeking a separation since late last year and has agreed to split a significant portion of his assets with Michelle. Following their separation, their son would be in Michelle's care.

On Michelle's birthday this year (May 31), Chen did not publicly extend his wishes to her as he had done in previous years, and Michelle has not visited him on set for over a year. Both Chen and Michelle have remained silent about the state of their marriage.

Chen and Michelle first met while starring in the TV series "The Romance of the Condor Heroes" and married in 2016. Since then, Michelle has reduced her work hours to focus on raising their children and managing the household, while Chen has been active in his acting career.

In a 2022 interview with The Icon, Chen praised Michelle's intelligence, knowledge, and resourcefulness, acknowledging her role in caring for their family and nurturing their children, which allowed him to focus on his career.
