Star footballer and beauty queen to welcome first child

Hau, a national team football star, and his wife posted a series of photos online, announcing the good news to friends and fans on Saturday night. The gender of the baby and the duration of the pregnancy so far have not yet been released.

After the announcement, Hau and My have received many congratulations from friends and fans.

Goalkeeper Filip Nguyen, Hau's teammate at V. League club Cong An Ha Noi, commented: "I hope it's twins."

Hau and My got married in November 2023. The couple started dating in 2020, but they kept it private until August 2022.

At 24, Hau rose to fame with his excellent performance across the pitch, securing his position as a regular starter on the national football team and contributing to the success of Vietnamese football over recent years.

He is still recovering from the lengthy heel injury he suffered last year and has been absent at the 2023 Asian Cup and the ongoing World Cup qualifiers. He is expected to be out for the rest of this season.

My, 22, made the top 10 of the 2020 Miss Vietnam and won the Talented Beauty award. She graduated from Hanoi Law University and is currently pursuing modeling and personal business.
