According to Ten Asia, the couple tied the knot seven years ago at Jeju Island’s CS Hotel & Resort, a property owned by Yoon. The resort has served as the filming location for several popular TV series, including "Secret Garden" and "Boys Over Flowers."

Yoon, who owns 11 companies, is considered the "godfather" of the construction industry in South Korea. He is also an avid golfer and owns the Nam Chun Cheon Country Club, a 27-hole golf course that spans a 410,000-pyeong (1.4 square kilometers) plot of land in Gangwon, a northeastern province in South Korea.

Sources indicate that Yoon divorced his first wife and was raising his only daughter alone before marrying Keum.

Keum represented South Korea at the 2003 Miss Universe pageant. She graduated from Harvard University in 2008 with a major in Biochemistry.

She then pursued a master’s degree in nutritional science at Columbia University while preparing her U.S. medical school applications. In 2015, Keum earned a dual doctorate in nutrition and epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

She has been an assistant professor in the Department of Food Science and Biotechnology at South Korea’s Dongguk University since 2017.
