The Times of India noted that reports from South Korean media on Tuesday indicated that the K-pop star has selected Save the Children, a non-governmental organization, as the recipient of her donation.

Jisoo’s YouTube channel, which she started in Nov. 2022, has attracted more than 4.9 million subscribers thanks to her engaging content that offers a peek into her life.

Save the Children, an organization with a history dating back to 1919, has led the charge in efforts to enhance the lives of children around the world. Focusing on education, healthcare, and economic improvement initiatives, the organization aims to secure a better future for children in need.

Jisoo, 29, was born Kim Jisoo in South Korea. She debuted with Blackpink in 2016 and embarked on her solo career in early 2023.

Korea JoongAng Daily reported last month that the artist had formed her own agency BLISSOO to manage her solo activities. This step is part of a trend among Blackpink members to take control of their individual artistic and business ventures, with Jennie founding "ODD ATELIER (OA)" and Lisa creating "LLOUD" after their contract with YG Entertainment ended.
