Blackpink’s Lisa sets up management agency

Blackpink member Lisa has announced that she has launched her own management agency called LLOUD on Instagram.

She calls it "a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment."

"At LLOUD, our passion as an artist management company is to create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations."

"Our core lies in relentless innovation and a commitment to authenticity. We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, crafting chart-topping and genre-defying music."

Along with the announcement of the launch, she also posted photos of herself in a suit, looking very much like a CEO. Her post also attracted more than 50,000 comments within 10 hours of posting.

By Feb. 11 afternoon (Vietnam time) it had received 4.6 million "likes" and 78,500 comments.

Among the comments it got were: "I’m glad Lisa established her own agency," "I think Lisa is someone who would do well anywhere," "The scale for Lisa is already different."

Lisa became the third member of Blackpink after Jennie and Jisoo to establish an agency. Lisa is the only artist LLOUD manages currently.

The 27-year-old was born and raised in Thailand but made her career in South Korea, joining YG Entertainment at the age of 14 after winning a music contest.

Born Pranpriya Manoban in Thailand, Lisa, 27, made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021 with the release of her album "Lalisa."

In 2023 Lisa was recognized by online music application Spotify as the first Kpop artist to reach 1 billion streams for the song "Money."

In November last year she became the first Kpop artist to be ushered into the Asian Hall of Fame as a cultural icon.

Also in November Lisa and other Blackpink members attended the British royal banquet on the occasion of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the U.K.

Since September last year Lisa has paused her artistic activities to focus on her personal life and travel.

Her international reputation soared after her performances at the Crazy Horse strip club in France last September.
