An Phat Holdings donates $1.3 million to Hai Duong’s Covid-19 fight

An Phat Holdings in February donated a total of VND31.35 billion ($1.3 million) to Hai Duong’s Covid-19 fight.

Previously, on February 1 and 17, An Phat Holdings had donated VND11.35 billion ($482,000) in cash, equipment and other necessities to Hai Duong.

Thus, in February alone, APH donated a total of VND31.35 billion ($1.3 million) to Hai Duong’s Covid-19 fight.

The company also coordinated with the Hai Duong Youth Union, individuals, organizations, businesses, and others to salvage 1,000 tons of farm produce.

"An Phat Holdings’ support comes from a spirit of solidarity and the hope the province can quickly overcome the pandemic," Tuan added.

Hai Duong is a key production hub for An Phat Holdings, which has in the province 10 plants, a number of subsidiaries and 3,500 employees.

Besides offering support to the community, An Phat Holdings always complies with Covid preventive measures at all its factories, production facilities and offices. Employees in Hai Duong are tested in times of outbreaks or when requested by the authorities.

Since the Covid outbreak began in nearly 2020, An Phat Holdings has also donated compostable products to 300 people including soldiers in quarantine zones in Truc Bach, Hanoi and 5,000 medical masks and hand sanitizers to the Vietnamese embassy in the U.S.
