Chaos breaks out at Hung Temple festival
Chaos breaks out as millions flock to Vietnamese ancestors' temple festival
Following a worshipping ceremony led by senior Party and state officials this morning, tens of thousands of pilgrims elbowed each other in a huge crowd heading to Nghia Linh mountain in Phu Tho northern province to worship Vietnamese ancestors, Hung Kings.
The small and narrow path was not able to hold such a big crowd, causing some women to faint.
