A Chinese Taylor Swift fan got a delightful surprise when her boyfriend knelt at her feet as she danced at the pop icon’s recent concert in Singapore.

The "Eras Tour" concert became a unique venue for proposals, with numerous attendees expressing their feelings to their loved ones during Swift’s performance of her hit song "Love Story," reported Ent Life.

The lyrics of the song include the romantic lines, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, ‘Marry me, Juliet. You'll never have to be alone. I love you, and that's all I really know.’"

Viel, the aforementioned Chinese fan, said she had never imagined being proposed to during a concert. While engrossed in dancing to the melodious tune, she could not hold back tears when her partner got on one knee and presented her with a ring.

Reflecting on the unexpected proposal, Viel said "I was already overjoyed to attend the Taylor Swift concert, but I never anticipated receiving an even more surprising gift."

In the same VIP 5 area, another young woman received a heartfelt confession from her boyfriend during Swift's rendition of "Love Story." The surrounding crowd cheered for the couple and extended their congratulations.

"Love Story" is a track from Taylor Swift's 2008 album, "Fearless," and remains one of the singer's most beloved songs.

According to Girls Style, over the past year, numerous individuals have chosen this particular song as the backdrop to confess their love due to its sweet and romantic lyrics.

Taylor Swift's Singapore visit includes six performances from March 2-9, attracting a staggering total of 300,000 spectators. Travel demand in Singapore during this period surged by 275%, according to 8Word.

"The Eras Tour" has captivated audiences across various continents, contributing to Taylor Swift achieving billionaire status in October 2023, thanks to the tour's immense success.

In December 2023, Guinness World Records recognized her Eras Tour as the highest-grossing concert series of all time, surpassing Elton John's previous record with over US$1 billion in revenue.
