The Singapore Civil Defense Force confirmed it was alerted to the fire at 9:25 p.m. and the room was unoccupied at the time of the incident, The Straits Times reported.
The blaze was captured on video by a passerby outside the hotel, with the footage later shared on TikTok, Mothership reported.
At the time, none of the rooms on the floor had their lights on.
"No one was injured in this incident," said the Marina Bay Sands spokesperson, adding that an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Situated along the Marina Bay waterfront, the integrated resort offers over 2,200 rooms and suites across three cascading towers, with room rates starting from S$799 (US$600).
