Daily flights will be available on this route, the carrier's chief executive officer Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said as cited by The Star.
He added the new service would allow Indonesian patients to reach Penang easily, avoiding the hassle of multiple flight connections.
Nicknamed the 'Pearl of the Orient,' Penang is renowned for its blend of Eastern and Western influences, as well as its world-class healthcare facilities, making it a prime location for medical tourism.
Indonesia remains Malaysia's largest source of medical tourists, accounting for 64.9% of total last year, according to The Sun.
