An Indonesian man has been sentenced to three weeks in jail for exposing himself to a female flight attendant on a Singapore Airlines flight.

Brilliant Angjaya, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exposure in court on Monday.

The court described his actions as "inexplicable" and "inexcusable," according to The Straits Times.

During the flight from China to Singapore on Jan. 23, Angjaya, a business class passenger, placed his mobile phone in recording mode, unzipped his jeans, and exposed his genitals.

The flight attendant later approached him with an in-flight meal. Upon seeing his genitals, she was shocked and looked away, but still set the foldable table, placed his meal on it, and left, AsiaOne reported.

She noticed his mobile phone with its camera pointed at her and decided to report the incident to her supervisor.

Angjaya initially denied recording the incident but eventually handed over his phone, which was found to contain videos of the incident, including footage of the flight attendant.

The crew reported the matter to the police, who later arrested him.
