Despite winning 3-0 against Malaysia in AFF Cup Sunday night, coach Park Hang-seo said the victory doesn't say much about Vietnam.

"Malaysia are always hard to play against. Therefore, I'm really happy that we won. As the head coach, I want to thank the players. They have given their best," Park said in the post-match conference.

Before the game, coach Tan Cheng Hoe said Malaysia will make a surprise going against Vietnam.

However, on Singapore's Bishan Stadium, Vietnam dominated for 90 minutes. In the first half, they let Nguyen Quang Hai and Nguyen Cong Phuong score before conceding another goal from Nguyen Hoang Duc in the late second half.

However, Park doesn't think this victory says anything about Vietnam's power.

"It's hard to assess Vietnam's power. We should not do this. My players have tried their best and I'm satisfied with that. Maybe we should let other people evaluate Vietnam," Park said.

In this game, Park continued to use keeper Tran Nguyen Manh instead of main goalie Bui Tan Truong, who is a regular starter in recent games of World Cup qualifiers.

"The team are having four goalkeepers at the moment. They are all great and I trust them. It's not important who I use. Manh has played well in the last game with Laos. In this game, I listened to the suggestion from the goalkeeper coach so I continued to use Manh," Park said.

With the victory, Vietnam are having six points like Indonesia. The two teams will clash on December 15.
