Plastic mogul heir's fianceé enjoys lavish Paris hotel

Recently, Midu and businessman Tran Duy Minh Dat, the son of Tran Duy Hy, Chairman of Duy Tan Plastics Manufacturing Corporation, flew to France for their pre-wedding photos at an ancient castle but kept it a secret from the public.
They rented a luxury room inside Le Meurice Hotel, which has existed for over 200 years and is considered as a "living museum of Paris."

Midu's room features classic style and windows overlooking a busy street. Housed in the oldest palace in France, Le Meurice has been part of the Paris landscape since 1835 and used to be a place for upper-class British travelers. The hotel is one of Paris's most lavish hotels with a night's stay costing up to VND46 million ($1,800) per person.

The hotel is likened to a royal palace for Europe's elite thanks to a mix of classic French design with modern accents, a combination of the 18th century opulence with contemporary chic.
The hotel is in the center of Paris, just a 4-minute walk from Rivoli and Place Vendome, 300 meters from the Tuileries gardens and 500 meters from the Champs-Elysees.

The hotel also displays historical treasures like a mini museum. Every space is decorated splendidly such as the lobby.

Within the hotel grounds is Le Meurice Alain Ducasse - a two Michelin-starred restaurant by world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse, who holds 21 Michelin stars throughout his career.
The restaurant's decor is inspired by the Peace Hall of the Château de Versailles.

It serves parties, events, and large-scale concerts for the upper class. In addition, the hotel also has Le Dali restaurant and Bar 228, which offers more than 300 drinks and live jazz performances every evening.

Midu also visited L 'Avenue restaurant located in a prime location in the 8th District of Paris, near top fashion brand stores such as Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
The restaurant has a luxurious and cozy indoor space, while the outdoor space allows guests to admire the busy atmosphere of one of world’s busiest fashion paradises.

L'Avenue features a menu that combines classic French flavors with international flavors, from truffle pizza to steak tartare. Each dish uses fresh ingredients and classy decorations. One of the most popular dishes there is Escargots - a famous snail specialty of French cuisine.

Midu enjoys afternoon tea at Maison Laduree restaurant, known for its delicious two-layer macarons.
In addition to macarons, Ladurée also offers a variety of sweet and savory pastries, including tarts, gateaux, cream puffs, chocolates, candies and teas.

The restaurant features mint green décor with chandeliers, flower walls and gilded bronze display cabinets. Born Dang Thi My Dung, Midu, 35, has made a name for herself as a model and actress.
Her most notable works include the TV series "Nhung Thien Than Ao Trang" (Angels in White Dresses) and Vietnamese-born director Victor Vu’s film "Thien Menh Anh Hung" (Blood Letter). In addition to her career in entertainment, she is an entrepreneur.
