Citing Headline Daily, The Star reported that Li, 43, was recently honored with an award for his outstanding performance in maintaining airport safety.

"I’m really happy because I never expected to win an award for just doing my job," Li expressed, showing his gratitude for the recognition in an interview with the Hong Kong publication. "I always strive to improve to the best of my capabilities."

As reported by AsiaOne, when asked to compare his achievement in the new role to winning HK$1 million (US$128,668) at the 2016 TVB Anniversary Awards, Oscar said: "It’s really the result of working at the airport for almost two years."

"Slowly relying on my own efforts, I get recognition for it, which is another kind of happiness," he added.

Although the job is demanding, Li said any exhaustion disappears when he returns home to his wife and daughter.

"No matter how tired I am after a long shift, all the fatigue fades away when I see my daughter and wife," he shared. "I feel so happy and blessed."

Li, who joined TVB in 1999, has appeared in numerous popular dramas, including "No Regrets," "Tiger Cubs," and "Birth of a Hero." He left the broadcasting network in 2022.
