A 68-hectare eco-tourism area in the Tam Dao National Park in Vinh Phuc Province, whose construction will begin in February, is expected to attract 175,000 visitors annually.

Property developer South Tam Dao Company will invest an estimated VND730 billion (US$29.9 million) in it.

The Ecotourism Area No.2 would have a botanical garden, outdoor sports area, camping area, water park, restaurant, park and square, the company said in its environmental impact assessment of the project.

On completion in the second quarter of 2026, it is expected to receive 500 visitors a day.

Situated on the northern edge of the Red River Delta, Tam Dao National Park spreads over an area of 36,883 hectares, including more than 23,000 ha of forests, is renowned as a trekking and outdoor camping location.

Entry is free, but visitors must register at its entrance and are expected to comply with forest conservation requirements.
