A 3-year-old girl in central Thanh Hoa Province suffered a fractured shoulder after her father beat her and threw her on a road.

The father, 39-year-old Duong Vu Lam, was summoned by police of Nghi Son Town for questioning on Wednesday.

An initial investigation revealed that at around 8 p.m. on Oct. 29, after getting home from work, Lam began to sing karaoke. His wife then brought their 3-year-old daughter out into the yard and beat her, making her cry.

Lam thought that his wife was not happy with him singing and beat their daughter to sent him a message, so he then beat their daughter as well, picking her up and throwing her down onto the ground. The girl suffered from a fractured shoulder and was taken to hospital.

The incident was captured by the family's security camera, before circulating online. The girl has since been taken home to have her health monitored.
