PepsiCo Foods Vietnam among top 10 best employers

PepsiCo Foods Vietnam was named among the Top 10 best places to work and Top 10 companies with responsive human capital initiatives at Vietnam HR Awards 2020.

PepsiCo Foods was ranked one of the Top 10 Vietnam best places to work by Anphabe, a prestigious career network for management professionals, with consultation from Intage, a market research company.

Furthermore, on Nov. 25, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam won the Top 10 Excellent Companies with Responsive Human Capital Initiative prize at Vietnam HR Awards 2020. This pioneering award ceremony in the field of human resources is organized by the Newspaper of Labor and Social Affairs in collaboration with Talentnet ("Ket noi nhan tai" joint-stock company).

This year's theme is "Win the Unplanned," awarding companies adopting outstanding human resource strategies in coping with adversities brought by Covid-19.

At Vietnam HR Awards 2020, Nguyen Ha Trang, human resources director at PepsiCo Foods Vietnam, shared the story of winning the hearts of frontline staff: "Our employees were always motivated to overcome psychological barriers imposed by social distancing. In case of quarantine, the company guarantees the income of each individual. Moreover, employees can remain connected through our multi-dimensional communication channels."

2020 proved full of turbulence, with the world and Vietnam's economies significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Considering employees health and safety the top priority, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam has provided flexible working policies, which allow employees to have better work-life balance. The company also cares for more than 2,400 potato farmers partners, who are equipped with proper personal protective equipment at work.

The company has been actively hosting online exchanges ("Virtual Coffee Chats") between leaders and skip-level employees for leaders to understand and support employees timely. The company also provides employees with a counseling hotline to help them overcome pressure during the pandemic.

PepsiCo Foods Vietnam has also contributed a lot to the community. Since the beginning of the year, the "Trieu Bua Com" (Millions of Meals) Campaign by PepsiCo Foods Vietnam in collaboration with Suntory PepsiCo and Vietnam Youth Federation has delivered 600,000 meals to people with special needs during the social distancing period. The company also spent VND4.7 billion buying ventilators, echocardiography machines, and other medical equipment for six hospitals across the country. PepsiCo Foods Vietnam received 2020 AmCham CSR Recognition Award presented by the American Chambers of Commerce in Hanoi for their efforts to help address society’s needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is the sixth consecutive-year PepsiCo Foods Vietnam has been included in the Top 10 best employer list. The win at Vietnam HR Awards 2020 confirms the company not only focuses on attracting but also retaining talents, those that accompany and develop alongside it, and those that feel the "PepsiCo pride."
