The dress, priced at VND181 million (US$7,352), is part of Cong Tri’s Fall-Winter 2024 collection, which launched in July. Gomez’s team requested a custom version of the original long gown, asking for a shorter dress without the oversized iris flowers to give it a sleeker, modern look, according to the designer.
Gomez has been spotted in several striking black outfits recently, including a Vera Wang bow-tied gown at the "Emilia Perez" premiere on Oct. 1, a velvet dress at the Emmy Awards, and a peplum sequin gown at the Toronto International Film Festival. She also wore a halter-neck mini dress for the season four premiere of "Only Murders in the Building" on Aug. 22.
At 32, Gomez has made headlines as one of the youngest billionaires in the U.S., largely due to the success of her Rare Beauty cosmetics brand. Her net worth, estimated at US$1.3 billion by Bloomberg, is bolstered by investments in the mental health platform Wondermind, real estate, music, acting, and brand endorsements.
