Angelina Jolie and her Vietnamese-born son, Pax Thien, were recently seen spending time together in New York City.

The two were photographed walking through Soho and enjoying lunch at Rubirosa on Tuesday, an Italian restaurant, according to the Page Six

Both were dressed warmly for the fall weather, with Pax reportedly hiding scars from a recent e-bike accident, according to The Mirror.

Jolie wore a stylish black shirt with a navy trench coat and aviator sunglasses, while Pax opted for a dark gray coat, white t-shirt, black trousers, and a grey fur trapper hat.

Following Pax's July e-bike accident, where he sustained a head injury after hitting a parked car without wearing a helmet, Jolie sought out top medical care for him, including a plastic surgeon to minimize the scar. Sources close to the family mentioned Jolie's hands-on approach to her children's well-being, stating that she personally arranged the consultation and was present throughout, according to the Daily Mail.

The accident occurred on July 29, and Pax, who was rushed to the hospital and spent time in intensive care, is now recovering and undergoing physical therapy. Throughout his hospitalization, Jolie stayed by his side, with his siblings also offering support, though Pax reportedly declined help from his father, Brad Pitt.

Pax, 20, was abandoned by his biological mother shortly after his birth in Ho Chi Minh City. Then placed in a local orphanage, where he was named Pham Quang Sang, he stayed there until being adopted by Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, in 2007.

Pax shares a close bond with his mother, frequently joining her on film sets and helping with her business endeavors.
