Singer Chi Pu sang with Chinese singer-actress Jenny Zhang on Thursday in preparation for their performance of the Vietnamese song “See Tinh” on Chinese reality series “Sisters Who Make Waves.”

Zhang, 36, updated her Weibo account with photos of her and Chi, 30, rehearsing for their performance. According to Mango TV, the two artists practiced performing the Vietnamese song "See Tinh" by Vietnamese singer Hoang Thuy Linh with instructions from Chinese coaches.

Chi and Zhang reportedly get along well with each other both in and out of the practice room. Chi has gifted Zhang a postcard, on which she wrote "I love you" in Vietnamese and Chinese. Zhang has said she adores Chi’s cuteness.

Chi and Zhang are in the same group with former S.H.E member Ella and the Chinese actress Janice Wu. The group will perform "See Tinh" in the second episode of "Sisters Who Make Waves," which airs on Saturday.

There will be a total of six groups competing, and the group with the lowest scores will have to leave the show.
In the first episode, which aired on May 5, Chi’s performance of her song "Doa Hoa Hong" (The Rose) was well-received by Chinese viewers.

Produced by Mango TV since its premier in 2020, "Sisters Who Make Waves" is a reality show in which female celebrities over 30 compete against each other to win a place in a seven-member girl group. The show won Best Reality Show at the 2020 Douyin Entertainment Awards.

Chi Pu is a renowned Vietnamese pop singer and actress. She was honored on Forbes’ list of the Asia Pacific's 100 most influential digital stars in 2020.

Jenny Zhang is a well-known Chinese actress. Her representative work includes "Palace II" and "Story of Yanxi Palace."
