The event involved officers and personnel who underwent more than 20 days of rigorous training under the guidance of experts from the drill, military and martial arts team and the political affairs unit of the Hanoi police.

The Close-Protection Assault Unit is tasked with special operations and rapid combat deployment to suppress riots, terrorism, assassination attempts, kidnappings of protected persons, and other crimes in protected areas.

The send-off ceremony and security drills are scheduled to take place on Jan. 6, 8, and 10 outside the My Dinh National Stadium in Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi.
