Taiwanese actress Joe Chen has ignited pregnancy rumors shortly after announcing her upcoming wedding ceremony with 36-year-old Malaysian entrepreneur Alan Chen, set for the end of September.

According to Chinapress, on Sept. 4, Joe Chen shared an Instagram photo featuring her in a white gown. Her slightly bulging belly led to speculation that she might be expecting.

The caption accompanying the photo included a poem: "The young lady. Wishes to speak but hesitates, wishes to speak but hesitates, instead she remarks: 'What a refreshing autumn it is.'"

Netizens praised Joe Chen’s appearance, with comments such as: "This is truly a goddess-like photo," "An ethereal beauty," "How can she be this beautiful?" and "Absolutely stunning."

However, some observed that while her limbs remained slim, her belly appeared slightly rounded, and her overall demeanor exuded a gentle, motherly aura. This has led many to wonder about the possibility of pregnancy. The actress has remained silent on the speculation.

Joe Chen and Alan Chen officially registered their marriage on March 31, 2022, after dating for two and a half years, as reported by Apple Daily. However, despite their marriage, Joe has reportedly faced criticism from her in-laws for not having children yet, according to SCMP.
