Malaysian singer Bella Astillah 'shocked' by divorce from actor Aliff Aziz

"Bella is still in the shock phase. She is still unable to accept the reality, but she’s trying to adapt to her new status now," said actress Puteri Sarah Liyana, a friend of Bella.

Puteri Sarah also revealed that although Bella was upset about how her marriage ended, her main concern is the impact on their two young children, according to The Star.

Puteri Sarah pledged her unwavering support for Bella during this challenging time. "As a friend, I'll try to support and give her strength to move on. I told her I would always be with her, and that she doesn’t need to feel ashamed to ask for my help."

Bella, 30, married the 33-year-old Aliff in 2016. They decided to part ways in 2019 following allegations of Aliff ’s affairs but eventually reconciled in 2020. The couple has two children together, aged six and three.

The couple divorced on June 13, following Aliff’s arrest in Malaysia alongside 31-year-old Malaysian actress Ruhainies under accusations of khalwat (close proximity), which denotes a situation where a woman and a man, not married to one another or related by blood, are found together in a private setting.
