According to The Star, the decision was made on Thursday at Malaysia’s Syariah Lower Court of the Federal Territory. This came three months after Astillah began divorce proceedings following Aziz’s detention with Malaysian actress Ruhainies, 32, for khalwat (close proximity), a term that applies when a man and a woman who are not married to each other or related by blood are found together in a private setting.

Malay Mail noted that the court ordered Bella, 29, to observe a three-month iddah period, which is the time she must wait before she can remarry. The actress also agreed not to seek alimony or monetary compensation.

Channel News Asia reported that the two did not shake hands when they encountered each other in court.

Astillah, 33, and Aziz, parents of two children, were married in 2016 but decided to separate in 2019 amid ongoing allegations of Aziz’s extramarital affairs. They reconciled in 2020.

Before finalizing their divorce, Aziz and Astillah both accused each other of having extramarital affairs.
