Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse and girlfriend singer Faye Wong allegedly break up after a decade together

Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse and singer Faye Wong have reportedly ended their 10-year relationship after Tse was seen leaving their shared home in Beijing.

Citing 163, Dan Tri newspaper reported that Tse was spotted returning to Hong Kong, taking only one of their cats, which had been a symbol of their enduring bond. The reason for the split remains unclear, as both celebrities have kept silent about the situation, leaving fans and media to speculate.

The last time Tse and Wong were publicly seen together was in August, when Tse accompanied Wong to the airport in Beijing. They appeared affectionate, and their intimate moments were widely shared online, earning admiration from fans.

However, many remain skeptical about the breakup rumors, as the couple has faced similar speculation in the past. In 2023, Tse denied breakup rumors at a public event, urging respect for their privacy.

Wong, 55, gained fame in the 1990s after moving from Beijing to Hong Kong at the age of 18. She became a well-known figure in Cantonese music and earned international recognition for her roles in films by Wong Kar-wai, such as "Chungking Express"" and "2046".

Tse, 44, rose to fame as a singer in 1996 and successfully transitioned to acting two years later with roles in TV series and films like "New Police Story" and "Shaolin". He later expanded his career to include directing, producing, and entrepreneurship, amassing a net worth of approximately US$143 million.

The couple first confirmed their relationship in the late 1990s, but they split in 2002. Wong later married Chinese actor Li Ya Peng, with whom she has a daughter, while Tse married Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung and had two sons. Both marriages ended in divorce. Wong and Tse rekindled their romance in 2014 and have been together ever since, despite ongoing rumors.

The couple reportedly resides in Wong's villa in Beijing, though Tse occasionally travels to Hong Kong for work or family matters.
