Extravagant numbers from wedding of Asia's richest billionaire's youngest son

The wedding with Radhika Merchant, daughter of a pharmaceutical tycoon, spanned three days from July 12-14 and hosted 1,200 guests, according to GQ.

The wedding took place at the Ambani family's 27-story complex valued at approximately US$2 billion. Guests were welcomed by 1,000 crystal chandeliers and 20 million flowers adorning the walkways.

During the three-day event, a team of 500 chefs prepared 37,500 dishes while over 30,000 bottles of the world’s finest champagne were served.

Anant gifted each of his 25 best men a custom-designed Audemars Piguet watch made of 18K rose gold and sapphire, valued at $239,000 each, according to The Indian Express.

Guests received lavish gifts from the bride and groom’s families, including gold necklaces, luxury footwear, Louis Vuitton bags, custom travel bags, high-end sleepwear, and handmade scented candles.

Last week, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber performed at a pre-wedding celebration, reportedly paid $10 million. In June, a four-day Mediterranean cruise for 800 guests featured performances by stars like Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, and Pitbull, costing $144 million.

Mukesh Ambani also gifted the newlyweds a 10-bedroom mansion worth $80 million in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, featuring a private beach. Additionally, Anant and Radhika received a Bentley Continental GTC Speed valued at nearly $650,000 and custom-designed jewelry, including a Cartier brooch worth over $2.5 million.

According to The Guardian, the wedding cost around $600 million, significantly surpassing the expenses of several royal weddings.
