Channel News Asia noted that the singer’s first TikTok video, uploaded on Thursday, featured herself in a stylish white graphic tee and studded jeans, performing a series of captivating poses.

The Straits Times noted that the video quickly attracted significant attention, amassing over 22.9 million views within the first 20 hours of its release.

The audio track accompanying the video was titled "Coming Soon - Lisa," which led to speculation about the potential of a new music project from the singer.

These speculations were confirmed when LLOUD, Lisa’s management agency formed after Blackpink’s contract with YG Entertainment ended in December last year, posted a teaser. The teaser on LLOUD’s social media platforms encouraged fans to pre-save her upcoming songs on music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, indicating an imminent release.

This marks Lisa’s first venture into solo music since the members of Blackpink parted ways with YG Entertainment.

Additionally, Lisa is set to appear in the third season of HBO’s acclaimed series "The White Lotus," which was filmed in her native country Thailand.

At 27, Lisa, born Pranpriya Manoban, joined Blackpink in 2016. She launched her solo career in 2021 with the album "Lalisa," and became the first K-pop artist to achieve over 1 billion streams on Spotify with her track "Money."

Beyond her music career, Lisa has also made her mark in the fashion industry, serving as a global ambassador for luxury brands like Celine and Bulgari, and has amassed a significant following on social media, with over 103 million followers on Instagram.
