Actress Christy Chung and 12-year-younger husband enjoy Malaysian getaway

According to The Star, Chung posted images of the vacation on Xiaohongshu on Tuesday.

"My husband Shawn and I brought Cayla here for a vacation," she captioned. "We watched the beautiful sunset in Sabah."

The photos featured Chung and Zhang sharing a close moment, Chung posing elegantly on a yacht, and the striking orange sunset they enjoyed.

Chung conveyed her fascination with the Sabah sunset in her post, calling it "super romantic," as reported by Malaysian news outlet Hype. She also teased the release of an upcoming vlog about their trip, creating excitement among her fans.

Chung, born in Canada to a Chinese-Vietnamese father and a Vietnamese mother, moved to Hong Kong to compete in the Miss Chinese International Pageant 1993, where she triumphed despite not knowing any Chinese. This victory kick-started her acting career.

Her performance in the 1993 film "The Bride with White Hair 2" quickly made her a celebrated figure in Chinese-language popular culture, and she starred in numerous films alongside icons like Hong Kong actor-filmmaker Stephen Chow and Chinese-born Singaporean actor Jet Li.

She married Zhang, her third husband, in 2016 following their meeting on a dating show the previous year.
