Actress Barbie Hsu’s former husband marries woman 18 years younger

The 43-year-old entrepreneur shared this update during a livestream on Sunday, revealing that after nearly a year of getting to know each other, he and Mandy felt a deep connection and decided to wed.

In response to this announcement, Hsu released a statement through her spokesperson, expressing: "I sincerely wish Wang Xiaofei happiness."

"I hope his marriage is everlasting and that he soon has children," she further commented. "I’m happy for him."

According to Sohu, Wang met Mandy through a mutual acquaintance. Mandy had previously been married briefly and has no children, but Wang stated that her past was irrelevant to him, focusing instead on how she treats him and his children.

Wang also mentioned that being with Mandy has brought purpose to his life because she is authentic and delights in simple joys such as dining at street stalls and traveling extensively with him. Since they began dating, he has cut down on his drinking and has better control over his words. Wang’s housekeeper also complimented Mandy, calling her beautiful, gentle, and kind-hearted.

Hsu, 48, gained fame for her roles in TV series like "Meteor Garden," "Mars," and "Summer’s Desire."

She married Wang in 2011, and they separated in 2021. They share two children.

Hsu remarried DJ Koo, aged 55, three months after her split from Wang. DJ Koo has relocated to Taiwan to live with Hsu and her children.

Last year, Hsu initiated legal actions against Wang and his mother, businesswoman Zhang Lan, for defamation and disclosing private information. The ex-couple has been embroiled in legal battles ever since.
