Vietnamese star midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc has visited Thailand to check the facilities of several clubs that have reportedly made offers to sign him.

Hoang Duc's contract with The Cong Viettel FC will expire at the end of this season. The 25-year-old can start negotiating contracts with other clubs from July 1.

Several clubs in Thailand have already made offers for the Vietnam national midfielder, according to Dan Tri.

In the past few days, during the V. League break, Duc went to Thailand to visit the facilities of the clubs that sent him offers.

Thanh Nien newspaper reported that the two Thai clubs showing interest in Duc are BG Pathum United and Bangkok United, both based in the capital.

BG Pathum's squad boasts top Thai stars such as Chanathip Songkrasin, Sarach Yooyen and Kritsada Kaman, while Singaporean brothers Irfan and Ikhsan Fandi also play for the club.

Bangkok United are among Thailand's top football clubs and have many national players on their roster. They had a successful run in the AFC Champions League this season after topping their group stage and reaching the last 16, where they lost to Yokohama F. Marinos from Japan.

It is believed Duc also received an invitation to visit Japan, but the player would prefer to play in Thailand before potentially competing at a higher level.

In February, Duc expressed his intention of playing football abroad and said he is not afraid of failure.
