The shows announced that the actress will be temporarily absent from their episodes, citing "scheduling conflicts" as the reason.

Angelababy will reportedly not appear in the special episode of the variety show "Keep Running," which she has been a permanent cast member on since 2014, reported Chinese news site QQ.
According to her entourage, Angelababy is set to attend another already-scheduled activity which overlaps with the episode’s shooting time. However, they have not revealed when she will be back to the show yet.
"Keep Running" is not the only show from which the actress will be absent. Various other variety shows have also suspended her appearance or granted her leave.
These announcements came after allegations of the actress appearing at the Paris-based cabaret Crazy Horse to watch one of Blackpink Lisa’s performances, which made her suffer from criticisms and accusations of violating Chinese laws. Stripping is classified as a sexually related activity in China, while its laws state that "entertainment industry workers are prohibited from organizing, attending, or promoting sexually related activities."
Many thus believe that the actress has decided to take a temporary hiatus to see how things will turn out.
Responding to public doubts, Angeelababy’s management agency has still remained silent. They have not confirmed whether the actress attended the show in Paris or not, nor have they apologized to the public, making audiences puzzled.
"Why can’t she say anything if she didn’t attend the show?" a netizen wrote. "[I believe] the answer is she did, but did not know how to handle things now."
The scandal is believed to have harmed Angelababy’s career and commercial reputation, as the actress has been known for her image rather than skills.
Born Yang Ying, Angelababy, 34, is an actress, businesswoman, investor, model, and singer.
She started her career in the entertainment industry in 2007 and has become one of the top actresses in China in terms of popularity. Her Weibo account has garnered over 105 million followers, making her one of the most-followed celebrities in China.
