Lisa of Blackpink uploaded photos of herself at the Paris-based cabaret Crazy Horse, famous for its striptease performances, and said performing there was a meaningful experience for her.

There has been almost zero footage of Lisa’s three-night shows at the cabaret surfacing online, since the audience were required not to use their cell phones. Thus, the artist’s fans got a surprise gift when Lisa shared photos of her performances on her own Instagram profile on Wednesday.

The singer wrote in the accompanying caption: "Such an amazing experience at the Crazy Horse Paris."

"Thank you everyone for making this happen. Call me whenever you need someone to fill a spot."

Lisa performed for three nights at the Crazy Horse Paris on September 28-30. All of her shows were limited to people aged over 16 only, and it is reported that the artist partially stripped throughout her performances.

The Blackpink star also suffered from public criticism for setting a bad example for her fans, many of whom are minors, after news about her raunchy performances at the venue emerged.

Many voiced their worries that Lisa stripping could make young girls consider strip dance as an "act of dignity" because their idol has done it.

Some of the South Korean public told Lisa not to "call herself a K-pop idol," showing their disapproval of her performances.

The Instagram account of Chitthip Brüschweiler, Lisa’s mother, has also been bombarded with negative comments, prompting her to temporarily deactivate her account.

Still, many people have argued that Lisa’s shows were simply entertainment, and the artist is old enough to express herself however she likes.

Woody, a Thai host with 2 million followers on Instagram, also a guest of Lisa’s shows, said the performances had high aesthetic values thanks to the lighting, color, and musical settings. According to him, the performances were not vulgar at all.

Born Lalisa Manoban in Thailand, Lisa, 26, made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021.

The star also established her name in the fashion industry as a global ambassador for various luxury brands, including Celine and Bulgari.

Her music career has also soared, and she has become the first solo K-pop artist to have a song reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with "Money."
