Hong Kong's on-screen sex symbol Suki Kwan divorces 7-year-younger husband

Kwan, 58, expressed a period of sorrow following the finalization of their divorce, as noted by On on April 28.

Reflecting on the divorce, Kwan stated: "I've moved past the pain and found peace within myself, so dwelling on the cause no longer troubles me. I've learned to reconcile with my circumstances and myself."

Currently single, she is not seeking any romantic relationships and has no plans to look for a life partner. She and Sheung had a private marriage that lasted a decade. Sheung, once an actor, has since transitioned into a yoga instructor.

Kwan is now focusing on reigniting her acting career and returning to the entertainment industry after an 18-year hiatus. Previously, she declined script offers due to family commitments but is now open to compelling narratives and intriguing roles.

Having been a prominent figure in Hong Kong showbiz from 1980 to 2005, Kwan was celebrated for her roles in steamy scenes, earning her the titles "Sexy Goddess" and "Hot Scene Queen" in the 1990s.

Her filmography includes works such as "The Twist" with Simon Yam, "High Risk" with Jet Li and Jacky Cheung, "A True Mob Story" with Andy Lau and Gigi Leung, and "Tricky Master" with Stephen Chow and Nick Cheung.

In 1996, she appeared in the martial arts film "Wong Fei Hung Series: The Headless General" alongside Vincent Zhao and Maggie Shiu, and other films like "Prince Charming," "Sausalito," and "The New Option," with her last screen appearance in 2005.
