Asia’s richest billionaire Ambani’s future daughter-in-law celebrates bachelorette ahead of wedding

Tatler magazine reported that Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor posted pictures of the event on Instagram on Tuesday, providing a peek into the festivities. Among the images was one showing Radhika in white feathered pajamas and shimmering slippers, flanked by friends wearing matching pink pajamas and tiaras, perfectly capturing a royal sleepover vibe.

The Times of India noted that the party’s guests included Kapoor’s rumored polo player boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, Radhika’s older sister Anjali, the groom-to-be Anant, his sister Isha, and sister-in-law Shloka.

The night was packed with fun activities, from indulging in pink sweets to taking turns sliding down a large slide on girly-pink pillows, creating unforgettable moments for everyone involved.

Anant, 28, is the youngest child of Mukesh Ambani who oversees the Reliance Industries conglomerate, known for its impressive yearly revenue of US$110 billion.

As per Forbes on April 20, Mukesh’s fortune was estimated at US$115.8 billion, placing him as the wealthiest individual in Asia and the 11th worldwide.

Radhika, 29, is the daughter of Shri Viren Merchant who leads the renowned Indian healthcare company Encore Healthcare.

The pair, both alumni of U.S. institutions, are set to hold their nuptials on July 12.

Their pre-wedding festivities, spanning March 1-3 in the Indian city of Jamnagar, showcased a performance by Barbadian pop and R&B artist Rihanna, for which the Ambani family is said to have paid 5 million pounds (US$6.3 million), per the Daily Mail. The total expenditure for the lavish celebration is estimated at 120 million pounds.

This grand event garnered attention not only for its extravagance but also for the distinguished roster of guests it attracted, including Meta’s chief Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates, and former U.S. President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka.
