GQ India reported that the notable gifts the billionaire and his wife bestowed upon their future daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant include a Bentley Continental GTC Speed, an automobile esteemed at 45 million rupees (US$541,000) and represents the pinnacle of luxury car craftsmanship.

2. A silver Laxmi-Ganesh gift hamper

The bride-to-be received another present in the form of an exquisitely made silver Laxmi-Ganesh gift hamper. Adorned with white flowers, the hamper comprises two silver Tulsi pots with a silver incense stick stand and a set of Lakshmi-Ganesh idols.

According to The Times of India, the Arangetram ceremony marks the debut performance of a student in Indian classical dance or music, signifying the successful completion of their formal training and education in the art form. Radhika, like her future mother-in-law Nita, received training in Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance form

At 29, Radhika is the progeny of Shri Viren Merchant, the Chief Executive Officer of the distinguished Indian healthcare firm Encore Healthcare.

Her soon-to-be spouse Anant, 28, is the youngest offspring of Mukesh, the leader of the Reliance Industries conglomerate, which boasts an annual turnover of US$110 billion.

Forbes, as of March 21, lists Mukesh’s net worth at US$114.3 billion, ranking him as the richest person in Asia and the eleventh richest person in the world.
