Jensen Huang was born in 1963 and currently ranks as the 8th richest billionaire globally with a net worth of US$152.8 billion as of Aug. 20, most of which comes from his shares in Nvidia, the world’s leading AI chip company. He co-founded the company in 1993, initially focusing on products designed to support graphics and gaming, but its processing power was later harnessed for many other fields, including AI.

Since the boom of generative AI in 2022, demand for Nvidia’s chips has skyrocketed, driving up the company's value. It became the first firm in the world to reach a $4 trillion market cap in early July.

Last December, he visited Vietnam to witness the signing of key deals related to AI with local businesses. He also drank beer and enjoyed Hanoi street food with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
