After attending the signing ceremony to establish two AI centers in Vietnam, Jensen Huang, alongside Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, visited Ngoc Son Temple by Hanoi’s iconic Hoan Kiem Lake.

Later, at around 10 p.m., they headed to Ta Hien Street, a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy affordable drinks, especially fresh beer, and a variety of street food.

The Nvidia founder, dressed in his signature casual style of a T-shirt and black jeans, walked along Ta Hien Street, cheering and waving in response to the warm greetings from locals.

This is not the first time Huang has visited Hanoi’s street food venues. Last December, he also went on a "food tour" on his first day in Vietnam, sampling pho, snails, and beer.

Jensen Huang’s visit this year is considered significant for both Vietnam and Nvidia.

After attending the signing ceremony to establish the R&D and AI Data Center in Vietnam, Huang is expected to participate in several domestic science and technology events.

Jensen Huang, born in 1963, currently holds a fortune of over US$126 billion, most of it from his stake in Nvidia, the world’s leading AI chip company. He co-founded Nvidia in 1993, initially focusing on graphic processing and gaming. However, the company later harnessed its processing power for a wide range of fields, including AI.

Since the AI boom in 2022, demand for Nvidia’s chips has skyrocketed, propelling the company’s market value above $3.5 trillion and placing it in constant competition with Apple for the title of the world’s most valuable company.
