Luxury retail heir, model wife welcome first daughter

The model announced Wednesday that she welcomed her first daughter the day before at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. Both her and the baby’s health are in good condition, she said.

The newborn has been named Caroline Nguyen, with a meaning of best wishes and strength in life. It has also been revealed that her nickname is Ca Rot (Carrot).

Linh Rin said she underwent her first labor in a relaxed fashion, as she had her husband accompany and support her throughout.

Speculation about Linh Rin’s pregnancy arose a few months ago as the model started appearing in public in loose and comfortable outfits and showed signs of weight gain.

Linh, 30, is a model and actress. She has appeared in many fashion shows and starred in several TV series.

Nguyen, 38, is the third son of Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, the chairman of IPPG – the top luxury retailer in Vietnam. The group is the exclusive distributor of over 100 luxury brands in Vietnam, including Rolex, Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana.

The couple held a wedding ceremony in Manila, the Philippines in March this year, after four years of dating.
