Filipino beauty queen dies few days after 20th birthday

According to news site GMA, the news of Pagaduan's death was shared on Jan. 12 via a Facebook account associated with Cagayan State University in the Philippines, where she was a student.

"The OPSM extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Antoinette Pagaduan, a first-year Political Science student, on her tragic passing," the post stated.

Reports indicate that Pagaduan had celebrated her 20th birthday on Jan. 9. The precise cause of her death is yet to be disclosed.
