During a recent livestream, the singer disclosed that his electricity had been cut off due to unpaid bills. He shared a payment code on social networks, appealing for financial assistance from the public.
His wife Au Yin Man, 33, also openly expressed her disappointment and discouragement. Struggling without electricity to cook, warm milk, or boil water for preparing formula for her children, she found the situation "unbearable" and "wanted to end marriage."
The couple’s plight quickly sparked debate on social media. While some offered support and help, others criticized the singer for exploiting his reputation to gain sympathy.
Cheung seemed unaffected by the criticism. He revealed that he now relies solely on odd jobs, earning a meager and unstable income that is insufficient to support his family. His physical appearance has dramatically changed from his days in the entertainment industry, with anxiety and stress visibly affecting his face.

Cheung began his entertainment career in 2003 with the boy band Boy’z, later renamed Sun Boy’z, where he won several music awards in Hong Kong.
After Sun Boy’z disbanded in 2008, he attempted to build a career in acting, which has brought him limited success and few roles.
Cheung has often been in the media spotlight due to his tumultuous personal life, which has adversely affected his image and contributed to his struggles in his acting career.
