The actress and her two sons attended a sorority luncheon at held by the Alpha Kappa Alpha chapter in Atlanta to welcome new members, of which Zahara is one, on Nov. 16, reported the DailyMail.
Alpha Kappa Alpha is known as the first intercollegiate historically African American Greek society.
Appearing in black ton sur ton outfits, Jolie and her sons took time to take photos with Zahara and other guests at the event.
The appearance marks only one of Pax Thien’s recent public sightings alongside his mother. Earlier this year he was featured on the cover of Vogue’s October issue with Jolie and Zahara to promote the actress’ new fashion brand Atelier Jolie. He also acted as Jolie’s assistant during the shooting of her upcoming film "Maria" in Paris.
Pax Thien, 20, was abandoned by his biological mother shortly after his birth in Ho Chi Minh City. He was then sent to a local orphanage, where he was named Pham Quang Sang. He lived there until he was adopted by Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2007.
He is now an abstract visual artist.
Jolie, 48, has six children with her ex-husband film star Brad Pitt, 60: Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox Jolie-Pitt. Maddox, Pax Thien, and Zahara were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Ethiopia, respectively. Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox are the couple’s biological children.
The actors have been embroiled in a custody battle ever since Jolie’s initial divorce filing in 2016. Jolie was granted physical custody of the kids, while Pitt was given joint custody in 2021. However, the legal battle between the two stars is still ongoing.
Public allegations about the "Brangelina" siblings taking sides with Jolie first appeared in a 2021 US Weekly report that cited an exclusive source as saying that Maddox wanted to officially drop his father’s surname and "legally change his last name to Jolie."
The claim was further reinforced when Zahara stated her name as "Zahara Marley Jolie" at her first appearance at a gathering of her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority sisters earlier this month.
