The number of seats in the stands will be limited to around 5,000 daily, and organizers recommend early booking.

This year's event has attracted pyrotechnic teams from eight countries - Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Italy, Poland, the U.K., and Vietnam.

Vietnam and Finland will kick off the event with performances on June 2 following the opening ceremony.

Canada and France will go next on June 10, Italy and Australia on June 17, and Poland and the U.K. on June 24.

The finals between the best two teams after four elimination rounds will be on July 8.

First held in 2008 as a two-day competition, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has become a two-month festival since 2017 and a popular tourist draw.

It was not held for three years from 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
